MATERIALS Jerry’s Artarama in Raleigh has excellent prices -often half or less of list price. Their online store is very easy to order from. https://www.jerrysartarama.com/all-products You can -of course -get comparable materials elsewhere, but if you don’t already have your supplies, I suggest Jerry’s. I have listed their catalog numbers and prices below. Those of you who already have paper, brushes, paint and a palette, just bring what you have. Brushes -Silver Black Velvet watercolor brushes are wonderful. Series 3000S Round #4 (Jerry’s 38090) $7.29 But any good quality watercolor brush size #4 is fine.
Paint -For beginners I suggest the following: Turner Concentrated Artist’s Professional Watercolor set of 18 colors (Jerry’s V19240) $19.99
