Art Alliance classes are held on schedule when the Greensboro Cultural Center is open. The Greensboro Cultural Center is closed on Federal Holidays. To view the list , please click here.

Youth pottery classes are held in room 129, located on the first floor of the Greensboro Cultural Center. Each session has six 1.5-hour classes. Class size is limited to 6 to 8 students and preregistration is required, with payment due before the first class. Supplies are included in the fee. If you register your child and plans change, please let us know before the start of the session. Students should be prepared to have a great clay experience—dress for fun!
$90/6 weeks.

YP1 Youth Pottery – starts October 24

Ages 9–11 | Tuesdays, 4:30–6 pm | Instructor: Lynne Fenner
This class explores handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques using earthen clay, glazing, and learning to work in a pottery studio.

YP2 Youth Pottery – starts October 25

Ages 12–15 | Wednesdays, 4:45–6:15 pm | Instructor: Tracy Raxter
This class explores handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques using earthen clay, glazing, and learning to work in a pottery studio.

YP3 Homeschool Pottery- starts October 26

Ages 7–15 | Thursdays, 1:30–3 pm | Instructor: Annie Klick
This class explores handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques using earthen clay, glazing, and learning to work in a pottery studio.

YP4 Clay Sculptures and Pottery-starts October 26

Ages 8–15 | Thursdays, 4:30-6pm | Instructor: Patrick Rowe
This class explores basic forms, handbuilding, pinch pots, slab roller, and basic wheel techniques, along with glazing and learning to work in a pottery studio.

Class size is limited. Pre-registration is required. Scholarships may be available.
